Cassie has been participating in the sport of breeding and showing dogs for over a decade. It all started with her Keeshond “Kabar”. Cassie quickly realized that this was where she wanted to be, and what she wanted to do. She purchased her first Australian Shepherd in 1997, and turned him in to AKC/ASCA/CKC Ch. Calais Country Hotshot of Carolina CD, STDs. Hotshot was her Juniors dog that catapulted her into the meticulous handler that she is today. She was a 5 time Westminster KC qualifier for Juniors, as well as the #1 Aussie Junior Handler and the #2 English Springer and Sporting Dog Junior Handler during her time in Juniors.
Mentoring under all breed handlers over the years, she grew as a person, as a groomer, and as a handler, under the tutelage of Sara Melichar (now Lopez), Don and Pat Rodgers, and Phil and Amy Booth. These are the people are behind the success she has had in the rings.

My Awards

Being a multiple Best of Breed, Group Winning and placing, AOM, and Premier winning handler has been the icing on the cake.
In 2007, Cassie moved back to Colorado and put down roots by purchasing her first home and started attending school to work towards a degree in Business Management. Cassie accepts a select few client dogs, and currently pilots them towards their championship with expertise and finesse.
Cassie’s philosophy is that more is not necessarily better. She will take on 5 or less client dogs, as she believes that individual attention is of the utmost importance, and necessary to bond with the dog and become a team. Her expert grooming and handling skills will have your dog being presented in the rings in a professional manner that truly shows the respect and admiration she has for your dog.
